GUIDE

How to use the pace calculator

1. Pull your split times

Look up your name and fetch your official splits straight from the HYROX results - or type them in manually if you already have them.

2. Compare station by station

Place several races side by side and see exactly where you lose time: running splits, strength stations or the roxzone. Your pace per station is calculated automatically.

3. Turn the analysis into training

A split time is only useful if you know what to do with it. Get a weakness analysis, then build your training plan around the stations that cost you the most time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a HYROX pace calculator?

A pace calculator converts your split times into per-station pace, so you can compare yourself across races and see where your time actually goes. In HYROX, your total time is the sum of 8 km of running, 8 workout stations and time spent in the roxzone - and it is rarely the running alone that decides your result.

Where do I find my official HYROX split times?

Your official splits live in the HYROX results database after every race. The search on this page fetches them directly, so you don't have to type anything yourself. You can also enter times manually, for example from a home simulation race.

What is a good HYROX time?

It depends on division and level, but as a rule of thumb most recreational athletes finish the open division between 1:20 and 1:45. More important than the total time is the distribution: if you lose more than 30 seconds on one station compared to the average, that is usually where the biggest gains are.

How do I improve my weakest stations?

Start by identifying your two or three weakest stations in the analysis. Then it comes down to targeted training: technique on the sled push and sled pull, work capacity for wall balls and discipline in the roxzone. Our 12-week HYROX training plan, Engine Builder, is built to turn exactly this kind of analysis into weekly sessions.
