// THIS IS ROX PHYSIO

RUNNING NERD, HYROXER & COACH

I'm Oliver. A licensed physiotherapist, certified HYROX Coach Level 1, and a former soldier.

I've stood on both sides of the profession. As a patient and athlete who pushed my own body too far. And as a physiotherapist who now helps others avoid the same mistake.

I'm also an entrepreneur. Since 2018 I've run ODK Photo as a professional photographer, and since March 2026 ROX Physio.

ROX Physio is built on HYROX performance coaching and evidence-based training.

Here's the story behind it.

// THE BACKGROUND

FROM THE ARMED FORCES TO PHYSIOTHERAPY

Before I became a physiotherapist, I spent 5.5 years as a Lance Corporal (OR3) with the 2nd Medical Company in the Danish Armed Forces.

I was deployed twice to Estonia and Latvia under NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence.

There I learned to work in a structured way under real pressure, where there's no room for guesswork.

I brought that approach with me into physiotherapy, and into the way I build training programs today.

// THE EXPERTISE

LICENSED PHYSIOTHERAPIST & HYROX COACH

I trained as a physiotherapist at UCN and I'm a certified HYROX Coach Level 1.

Since 2023 I've coached functional and high-intensity training at CrossFit Aalborg, The Cross Box Aalborg and Tvørmegi CrossFit on the Faroe Islands. Today I coach at Kronborg CrossFit in Brønderslev.

That adds up to over 1,000 hours as a coach, on the floor with the members.

That combination means I understand both the injury that can happen and the performance you're chasing. Not just one of them.

// THE ATHLETE

I KNOW THE SPORT FROM THE FLOOR

I don't just coach Hyrox. I compete myself.

I've lined up at four Hyrox races: Mechelen, Oslo, Copenhagen and Oslo again. On top of that, several smaller hybrid races here in Denmark. In December I'll race Hyrox Helsinki.

That means I know how it feels in the body when your legs lock up in the last 2 kilometers. Not just how it looks from the outside.

// THE MISSION

HYROX PERFORMANCE COACHING. EVIDENCE-BASED TRAINING.

I place a high value on evidence-based practice. Every program rests on three things: my professional judgment, your own values and preferences, and the best available evidence. Not habit or gut feeling.

You get a thorough assessment, a clear explanation of the diagnosis and plan, and clear goals we set together.

I combine that with coaching, because a good plan isn't enough on its own. That's why I work deliberately on habit change and your own capacity to act, not just motivation from the outside. That leads to better adherence, and better results.

You're heard and seen, every time.

I believe in long-term programs over quick fixes. That gives a better chance of seeing real change and achieving more and bigger results than a short program can.
